Kathryn Dunn is one of the most sought-after marketing experts in the country today. During her career, she has used her marketing expertise to establish three companies, and has coached hundreds of other professionals on how to do the same. Kathryn attributes her success to her unique training and natural instincts for business, marketing, and copywriting.
Kathryn began her career in Los Angeles at Grey Advertising, one of the largest ad agencies in the world, where she spent four years honing her skills in a traditional agency environment. From there, Kathryn was selected to work with Jay Abraham, the highest-paid marketing consultant in America, where she spent three years as a direct response copywriter and manager of continuity programs. It was at Abraham's that she learned the direct response marketing techniques that have made her and her clients so successful.
In 1990, Kathryn co-founded K Dunn & Associates, a marketing firm that guarantees results. She can guarantee results because she has a track record for writing ads that generate response. In fact, professionals across the country have paid thousands of dollars per month for the right to use just one of her "magic" ads.
In 1992, Kathryn joined forces with Attorney Robert Armstrong to co-found the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, where Academy members nationwide used her marketing and retention programs. In 1996, Kathryn sold her interest in the San Diego-based Corporation, yet retained ownership of her proprietary marketing materials. In addition, she has since developed many more materials that have been tested and proven to attract a high response.
Kathryn obtained her bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Oregon School of Journalism, in Eugene, Oregon, one of the leading journalism schools in the country. She received her master's degree in organizational communication (human communication) from California State University, in Long Beach.
It's hard to get Kathryn out of the office because she loves what she does, but she also enjoys playing with her Bichon Frise (Ginger), playing golf with friends, and riding her Harley.
